Paw Works Veterinary Hospital opened its doors to the public, March 1, 2021, with the sole purpose of creating quality, affordable veterinary care for the community and its animals. Established under the umbrella of Paw Works non-profit, PWVH is the first of its kind for Ventura County and the Conejo Valley. Formed to put animals first and profits second, PWVH, brings commissioned free veterinarians with over 50+ years of combined experience back to what they love, caring for the loved ones of others, your pets!
PWVH is dedicated to not only treating and caring for the Paw Works’ rescue animals, but working with other nonprofits and shelters nationwide, all while running a successful private practice for the public.

Dr. Erich Stumpp, DVM
We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Erich Stumpp, DVM, has accepted a full-time position as the Lead Veterinarian at Paw Works Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Stumpp has over 20 years of experience in emergency and critical care, extensive surgical knowledge, and expertise in the management of chronic ailments. With an impressive resume that includes associate positions at well-known clinics such as ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital and Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group of Orange County, we are excited to welcome such a well-rounded, compassionate, and knowledgeable veterinarian to our Paw Works family. In his free time, Dr. Stumpp enjoys spending time with his family and his rescue dog named Chuck Norris.
